Turmion Kätilöt (Literally “Midwives of Destruction” or “Midwives of Perdition”) is a Finnish industrial metal band founded in 2003 in Kuopio, Finland, by MC Raaka Pee and DJ Vastapallo. The band consists of six members: MC Raaka Pee, B. Undertaker, Spellgoth (who is also the lead vocalist of Trollheim’s Grott), Master Bates, RunQ and DQ.
The band had a recording contract with Spinefarm Records (specifically Ranka Recordings), and their second full-length album was released on March 29th, 2006.
Currently Signed to Osasto-A (Record Company started out by Mc Raaka Pee)
They released their third full-length album “USCH!” on June 11th, and single for new song called “Minä Määrään!” on May 21th. The album is free to download in mp3 format from their website http://turmion-katilot.info/ (lossless wav format is coming). Or just go to http://raharecords.com
2009 band lost their guitarist DJ Vastapallo and 18.12.09 new guitarist Bobby Undertaker from Deathchain was announced.
Fourth full lenght, Perstechnique was released February, 23rd, 2011 by Osasto-A
