The album “Dávid Ibolya titkos élete” (The Secret Life of Dávid Ibolya) from Tudósok is a real unique one. This album which is the 12th in a row introduces a completely new side of the legendary band. One of the oldest formations of the Hungarian underground music has turned towards electric sounds. The lyrics still have the same humor, freshness, absurd and craggy power that have always been their trademark. DrMáriás’ jazz trumpet and saxophone play, Gergely Jely’s drum and Dávid Endrei’s bass play (Gergely and Dávid also known from the Brains) are now completed by Párizs, the new member’s mellow electrical sounds as if one of the Kraftwerk members had joined the band. Thanks to that a pleasant pop-dadaist collection of songs can be enjoyed in this opus which brings a completely new ’The Scientists’ athmosphere with new, danceable and energetic songs. On the other hand some of the older unforgettable songs can also be enjoyed – this time in a new, digitally remastered form.
