Coming back to this album after so many years it is nice to see it hasn't lost any of it's intensity or relevance. If you can find it the Sessions at West 54th with Tricky (mostly this album) is amazing.
Wasn't that hard for me to get into most tracks. But you also need to take time for the lyrics.
And yes @leonhoekstra86 I would also say it's a lil bit better than Maxinquaye, which's still very very good and inspiring
Great stuff. The atmosphere on this record is beyond words, I get a unique mix of feelings such as loneliness and cold bitterness towards our whole society, while still having that soft and warm feeling of importance of my own existence. Great use of unique sounds and beats. Also, the booklet and cover art is exceptionally beautiful and fitting.
