Biography

Triangle Forest is an electronic music group which formed in Providence, Rhode Island, United States in 2005. The band consists of Brendan Britton (vocals, synth, MIDI guitar), Martin O’Connor (bass synth, keytar) and Ben Britton (drums). The band’s original keytarist Alexandra Kleeman left the band on good terms in 2007 to focus on her college studies. Her replacement Xiaojue Hu left in 2009 for similar reasons and was replaced by O’Connor. Brendan Britton is also an astronomy professor at the Community College of Rhode Island. The band gained local prominence after winning the 2007 WBRU Annual Rock Hunt. Since then, the band has been the opening act for bands like Shiny Toy Guns, The Bravery and Silversun Pickups. Their song “Rockagon” became a popular local alternative and college radio hit in the Fall of 2007.
