Trentmoller is a huge Hope Sandoval stan. His Sept 2007 chart on RA: 1. Mazzy Star - Fade Into You 2. Hope Sandoval - Suzanne 3. The Cure - A Forest 4. The Smiths - Last Night I Dreamt Somebody Loved Me .... The Marie Fisker vocals are a tribute of sorts to Fade Into You, but she is if anything a more consistently engaging vocalist than Hope Sandoval. I highly recommend her 2009 album Ghost of Love if you're at all into the Trinity Sessions/Chris Isaak/softer Mazzy Star vibe.

and 'alternative' is pretty useless as tag... most non-radio/pop/cheap music (which covers most of the music) is alternative :)

Do you really care about musical labels? I used to do so as well till I erased every tag in my library that concerns genres. They don't mean anything. Sometimes they even keep music away from people because they think they are into one kind of music and don't want to listen to something that is called "electronic" for example. Great track anyway, mister Trentemoller!

Wonder if his new album will all be like this. I'm having a hard time tagging it in my library :P Would it be Alternative? It's not really electronic.
