Aftermath (2:28)

Cover of Quake I Sountrack

From Quake I Sountrack

The track “Aftermath” is from the soundtrack for id Software’s first person shooter video game “Quake”. Trent Reznor made the soundtrack and many of the sound effects for the game which featured a Nailgun and ammo with the signature “NIN” logo. John Carmack, id’s main programmer, was a fan of Nine Inch Nails and Trent Reznor a fan of id’s seminal shooter “Doom”.

"Kinda silly to be listening to game music. Trent is excellent, but this is pointless." A dumb comment. This is music first, and "game music" second. And it's entertaining, so who cares what is was written for?

This is soo soothing I only wish that in a real factory this was the background noise and not the banal sound overlayed hat the unfortunates in factories shout to each other over the pure music of the machines. Lets be sharp as a guillotine drill not dull as a flesh hammer

henri3000 some people like ambient music. Trent does this frequently under the NIN moniker as well, so why would you think NIN fans would find this "pointless"?
