TREES OF MINT is a solo project started in 1999. After a four years experience as singer/guitarist in a secret noise band called “Virus in Pachyderm”, Francesco Serra decides to turn down the volume and approach to another musical dimension mainly based on guitar and voice. In december 2002 he starts, in collaboration with Nicola Porceddu (Dainocova) at the drums, a new home recording session that ends in september 2003 for some unexpected problems. The new work is called “Songs from Drawers”. On 2004 he produces his first video clip, totally filmed in Super8, called “Heroes Feel Alone”. He rarely plays live but since 2005 he starts to: new songs are taking shape…In April 2006 starts a new collaboration with Andrea Siddu (Plasma Expander, Dainocova, Intrusi, The Flying Sebadas) at the drums. The new line up sounds good since the first live shows, so, in April 2007, Trees of mint is at the “NHQ” recording studio in Ferrara as a duo. The new record, “Micro Meadow”, will be out sometimes in 2007 for “Here I Stay” records. A Trees of Mint compilation is available on
