Traumeta is an Iranian Alternative Metal band.
Members include Babak Parham on vocals, Ehsan Izadian handling guitar duties, Benyamin Tavakol on bass and Behrooz Parham behind the drum kit.
Traumeta started when Babak and his brother Behrooz formed the rock band Lithium in 2006.
Later, in 2007, Ehsan joined them and the band changed its name to Ways.
In year 2008, Ways recruited bass player Benyamin, a close friend of Ehsan’s brother, and Ehsan Salimi, a former friend of Ehsan’s, for playing the lead guitar parts.
Later, due to differences in opinion, Ehsan Salimi left the band, and Ehsan Izadian accepted to handle all guitar duties.
Finally, Ways changed its name to Traumeta and started writing new materials, rehearsing and recording.
4 songs were recorded in band’s home studio and were released as an Ep debut album on July 2009.
Ardalan Izadian, Ehsan’s younger brother, did the photo shoots and graphic designs.
For now, Traumeta is rehearsing other 5 songs of the album and will be in the studio in the upcoming days.
