Introduced to the music sequencer FL Studio (then Fruity Loops) by a friend in 2002-2003, Russ opened a curiosity in making his own music. Writing tracks since middle-school, Russ eventually turned a mere hobby into an activity he could always enjoy doing.
He attended and graduated from SAE Institute in Hollywood with a diploma in audio engineering. He is now pursuing a major in mechanical engineering to study how things work, and understand how these workings can be emulated in future creations.
Russ has written a diverse collection of tracks, beginning with primitive and catchy dance anthems, following with more modern themes. His current focus aims to bring back the fun, funk, and soul to the dance floor: simple, sweet, and old-school.
