Toxic Coma

Toxic Coma is a side project to Velvet Acid Christ. Toxic Coma Currently is: Bryan Erickson, Dan Olson, And Steve Bird. Psychophreak was written over the summer of 2004 using only renoise tracker with some vsti plug ins. Pretty impressive if you ask… Toxic coma has always been about making normal people go crazy, and making insane people laugh and enjoy themselves. This music is for the hard core freak and or psychonaut. Psychedelica. They use so many styles and genres in their music that they consider themselves the ultimate fusion of all electronic underground hardcore styles. They won’t bother you with labels, just promise that this is extremely tripped out and freaky. They try to mess with your head and make you laugh…
Anyone who likes to listen to music while under the influence will love how fucking thick and detailed this cd is. These songs are long, and they change constantly and are perfect for drifting in and out of this universe. This music is about having fun and freaking out.

The music is close to EBM mixed with samples from Futurama and other TV shows. It’s not easy listening and never boring. For each time you listen to these tracks, you’ll discover something new. The music have to be experienced to understand. It’s like a discovery trip into the twisted world of beats, mixes, samplings and not so much structure that builds the experience.

Does anyone have the covers for these Toxic Coma albums? --- Under The Covers, Rancid Bloody Semen, Smokin Anal Warriors, Tactical Anal Flyswatter Strap On or Questionmark?? I hate that I don't have covers for these albums...

"I never heard more than one style: electronic dance" There is no such style.

In the description, “They use so many styles and genres in their music that they consider themselves the ultimate fusion of all electronic underground hardcore styles.” I’ll be honest, I never heard more than one style: electronic dance. They barely changed tempos let alone change styles much. A lot of it I could almost describe as VAC with no vocals and samples he didn’t want to use because they sounded like dark humor…and when put in music surely work that way lol. I’ve yet to hear a band that can do something like what the description claims lol, except for Coil, and everyone important from that band is dead now. Despite what I’ve written though, I do like Toxic Coma, perhaps more than VAC, I find their electronics more impressive than in VAC.

This kinda reminds me of early Velvet Acid Christ but with superior production. Theoretically that sounds amazing but I don't know, maybe it just needs to sink in.

ha, I always loved the hidden humor behind the producers of "serious industrial music."

Hey, check out my song. I got a lot of inspiration from VAC and Toxic Coma and maybe, just maybe someone might like it.

i cant find this for the life of me. if anyone can inform me where this sample came from pls do, (or if its not a sample.) at the very end of Feel The Spirit on the Toxic Coma album in a girls voice you hear: "I finally hit rock bottom, i became a human toilet. its hard on my knees, but, i get to work on my people skills" google has been no help on this.
