This track plays in the film Dune over the much-remembered scene where the Duke Leto speaks with his son Paul, famously saying: “I’ll miss the sea, but a person needs new experiences. They jar something deep inside, allowing him to grow. Without change something sleeps inside us, and seldom awakens. The sleeper must awaken.” However, it is repeated in various key scenes in the film, serving as Leto’s leitmotif.

In the Extended ‘Alan Smithee’ TV Edit, this also plays over the death of Mentat Thufir Hawat.
