I think it's ridiculously overrated among Tori's albums. For starters, Happy Phantom & China are just silly. Crucify & Tear in Your Hand (which has its fair share of silliness as well), although Tori classics I guess, are just ok, very plain-sounding. Me and a Gun is truly heartbreaking and lyrically rich but doesn't work that well for me overall, being an a cappella song. Leather is fun and kinda addictive, not bad at all, but not that interesting either. Now, Precious Things, Little Earthquakes, Mother, Winter, Silent All These Years and Girl are all good songs (Precious Things being GREAT and my favourite of course), but I think SATY and Winter are quite overrated, I never understood why so many people call them masterpieces, like, really? I'm sure the album felt like a bigger deal back then, it's understandable, but since then Tori has created some amazing albums that LE doesn't even come close to, the years from Under the Pink through Scarlet's Walk were obviously her peak.

My plays are sickeningly low, but like others, I have played this thousands of times. I also iisten to it straight from LP whenever the time comes.

Along with Kate Bush's 'The Kick Inside', one of the most perfect debut albums of all time. And I won't even describe how much it means to me on a personal level.

The title track 'Little Earthquakes' - the strongest thing about this album without doubt but still underrated
