Must have been a track in Scarlet.

I think it would've been far more atmospheric and dark in choirgirl form; I think the sunnier arrangement is entirely post-Scarlet, pre-Beekeeper because that was the time.

"oh that summer we traveled the world, never leaving his own back garden" Is that like taking a trip without leaving the farm? Smokey & Shroomy treats?!!! Yay! Love this song!

this song is pure perfection, it's cute, it's ingenuous, everything. and quite sad too, to "promise snow cherries from france", something that doesn't even exist. Tori said that in an interview and that music made to me much more sense.

In the summer of 2005, at 20, I was very much in love with this boy. And this song reminds me of that time, and even though we split the following year, this song always takes me back to that time, the feelings, everything.

This might be my favorite Tori song. I can't imagine how it would've fit on Choirgirl, either; and maybe it's best that it didn't. :)

This is such a gorgeous song. I can't believe she started writing it at the same time as Choirgirl, I wonder how it would have appeared if it made that record.
