I dismissed this song at first. Then I listened a few more times and fell in love with it.

Epic? Classic? How do you best describe a song like this? Maybe just excellent.

I tend to see this song as a masterpiece. It is just wonderful. It's so long, over nine minutes, and yet it doesn't feel like that. It never gets boring. It's beautiful.

Great lyrics and melodic progression. I'm also very fond of the apparent nod to Woodstock in the lyrics.

I love the new version. I always pictured the Russian Revolution, soldiers, and the Romanov household being seized when I listened to the second half of Yes, Anastasia. The beginning of the new version evokes all that and Tori just confirmed this idea in the interview she gave The Line of Best Fit.

The new version is basically Under the Pink's "Yes, Anastasia (edit)".

The chord progression in this song...flawless. a song can not stand firmly without a good chord progression and this one is rooted in the mathafuckin' ground mistah
