About This Track
The Pot” is the second single from American band Tool’s album 10,000 Days. The song was their first #1 on the Billboard Mainstream rock Tracks chart. In 2008, the song received a Grammy nomination for Best hard rock Performance. According to The Rock Radio, a video was shot over the winter holidays of 2006.Lyrical meaning
In a Guitar World interview, Adam Jones confirmed that the title is a reference to an idiomatic term for hypocrisy (i.e. the “pot calling the kettle black”).
And in the not so official video someone made, it is based on song by the fact that the farmer gave pain not to only him but in his greed he killed everyone else.
