Mit Gas is the second studio album by the American experimental rock supergroup Tomahawk. It was released on May 6, 2003, through Mike Patton's independent record label Ipecac Recordings. "Mit gas" means "with gas" in German, and is a way to specify sparkling water.

@Treats4TheSOUL I've always assumed that despite "Mit Gas" referring to sparkling water in German (it means "With gas") that it's just a fart joke.

Terrific record that improves upon their already very good debut by a considerable margin. The band was really, really tight by this point and stuff like "Birdsong," "Rape This Day," "Mayday" and "Harelip" is absolutely killer.

Churbabukkbukk is right! The artwork in this album is absolutely beautiful. Mine's frayed around the edges a bit now and I'm tempted to buy a new one.
