Downtown Train (NME Version) (3:53)

Cover of Tales from the Riverside

From Tales from the Riverside and 1 other release

A different version of “Downtown Train” from the one on the “Rain Dogs” album.

This version was released on an EP by NME (New Musical Express) - probably in 1986. The EP is sometimes known as the “NME Big Four EP”. “Downtown Train” is the first track on the A-Side. It is followed by “Some Candy Talking” by the Jesus & Mary Chain. The B-Side contains Hüsker Du’s cover of the Beatles’ “Ticket to Ride” and a track by Trouble Funk called “Let’s Get Small”.
