    Critics aren't worth anything anymore. The only way for people anymore to judge if something is good or bad is by making the decision themselves.

    I've been reading Conversations with Tom Petty, and Tom says he really likes this album and that it shows a more mature style. He also said Dylan told him he really likes the album. I think I'll listen to those two over critics in the music industry.

    This is a great latter-day Petty album. I think the cynicism hit a little too close to home for the music critics, hence its underrated status.
