Titee on the history of Titee & Pixieguts…
“It is indeed a great privilege to do music with the famous Pixieguts. It all began with the tune ‘Long River’. This vocal was sung through a cheap mic through a sound setup on a PC which I can now say was either genius or fluke ( Is there a difference ? ). The mic had a stocking rapped around it to give the hollywood sound - the stocking over the lens trick to bring about youthful looks. The vocal itself was quite a bit longer than you can hear on the track. I did actually make a tune from this vocal but then Pixieguts took the track and tweaked it with her vocal editing skills and presented me with the new vocal. I then made a few different mixes and ended up with ‘Long River’. A short time after release Adrian Carter made a remix of it, so then, Titee made another remix of it and the track ended up quite a treat and is still being downd and listened too by music appreciators all over the world. There was also another remix of this track by Adrian Carter called ‘Black River’.
