Tiny Blue Boxes are a British band based in London consisting of multi-instrumentalist Zoheir Ebrahim and singer Matt Louis.
Formed in 2008, they have recorded and self-released three EPs ( ‘Tiny Blue Boxes EP’ (2008), ‘Light in the Heart’ (2009) and ‘Inherent’ (2011) ) as well as a full-length record, ‘Within Us & Abroad (2009). They are currently working on a second full-length record.
They gig whenever they can manage it and prefer making music to having conversations with human beings.
Their inspirations include Radiohead, Massive Attack, Four Tet, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, The Smiths, R.E.M., Nick Drake, Beirut, Joy Division, Elliott Smith, Paul Gonzenbach, Caribou, Duels, Brian McBride & plenty of other better-looking, more successful artists.
