Tinsley Ellis (1957-), a blues musician, was born in Atlanta, Georgia and spent his early years in Florida. Inspired by his idol, B.B. King, he was determined to become a blues guitarist. In 1975 he returned to Atlanta and joined his first band.

His peers include Derek Trucks, Widespread Panic, and the Allman Brothers. His song Hell or High Water was given away as a “Discovery Download” on iTunes.
