Didn't he already do that (badly, for the most part) on The Man Who Sold the World?

Figures he'd want to give a metal/hard rock group a go, since he's played in just about every other style known to rock, and invented at least one himself.

Tin Machine was sexy as hell. Bowie and the band sound like Morrison and The Doors on Heaven's In Here...

I have mixed reactions to this ... sounds good because of David Bowie but it sounds like 4th July music.

Great Rocker! Gotta admit, Tin Machine got such horrible reviews I never really listened to them.

I never understood why this group didn't receive more positive critical recognition. The late 1980s were not the greatest time for music, certainly, in a "mainstream" sense," but Tin Machine was actually a bright spot of rawness and authenticity! This is rock 'n' roll!!!
