Time Zone was a band headed by Afrika Bambaataa. Bambaataa worked with different musicians for each Time Zone project.

The first Time Zone single was the 1983 song "The Wildstyle" which featured music from a German project called Wunderwerke. Bambaataa was introduced to their music by Rusty Egan of Visage. The song became very popular among break-dancers at the time.

    Found the Africa-Johnny version on "Richard Blades Flashback Favorites" cd, that I found in the used cd bins at Amoeba Records. Great version! It's listed as "World Destruction - Extended 12" Remix" by Time Zone. Always thought it was a PiL track. :D
