Timati (Russian: Тимати) is the stage name of rapper Timur Ildarovich Yunusov (Russian: Тимур Ильдарович Юнусов) born on August 15, 1983 in Moscow to a Jewish mother and tatar father. Member of RnB group Banda (Russian: Банда) (“Gang” in English) and VIP-77. In 2006, was featured in Fyodor Bondarchuk’s film Zhara (Russian: Жара). Owns the nightclub B-Club, the bar Black October and the store Ё-Life. Well known to the Russian community from the music reality show Fabrika Zvesd (Russian: Фабрика Звёзд) (“Factory of Stars” in English). Lived in LA for 5 years, now lives in Moscow.
