Biography

You may not know who Tim Daniel is yet, but chances are you’ve already heard his songs. That’s because Tim is a successful songwriter, and has written a string of hits for the likes of Blue, Toploader, Delta Goodrem, Lemar and Simon Webbe to name a few. Having written some great songs for other people, Tim decided the time was right to write some for himself! With lyrics that sum up exactly what everyone is thinking, but can’t say themselves, Tim has found that his music really connects with people. … “What I want to achieve with my album is for people to identify with the songs, and for them to reach out and help those who’ve been through similar experiences to me”.

Tim found the process of writing his debut album quite therapeutic, and yet this collection of songs is far from self-indulgent. From the honest and hard hitting ‘It Ain’t Working’, to the beautiful, lyrical ballad ‘You’re Needed’, Tim has constructed an album of emotionally mature, hope-inspiring songs, each drawn from different moments in his life.

One of the only stand-alone UK songwriters, Gary Barlow, has described Tim’s record as “an album full of hits obviously written from the heart” and as soon as he heard Tim’s music, Gary thought their fans would love it too.
