    I doubt that it's impossible to disparate different artists with the same name wikipedia has a method why shouldn't it be possible for Last FM

    they could have it look at the song name and the album title and compare it to other people's scrobbles and figure it out from there. you might still get some crossovers but it would be a hell of a lot better than what we have now.
