This is a great album by the German flamenco duo. It nicely crosses the boundaries between chill-out, nu-jazz, and world. This could be described as 'theme music' for a lonely ride along the coast, during a lost weekend. "Tierra Negra" first came to my attention through anthology albums featuring: Jesse Cook, Johannes Linstead, Ottmar Liebert, and Armik. Needless to say, they have several albums out there, which are really entertaining. If your into those flamenco acts that I've already mentioned, or like fellow German guitar-wizard Govi then this will be your ticket. As I said, this is really a moody laid-back CD. Not indicative of their other projects. Recommended.
