Carlos Caro was born in Havana, Cuba in 1967. He grew up in a little town call Guanajay at the west of Havana. From an early age, he was strongly drawn to Cuban music, and, in particular, to percussion.

Danny Lozada Guzmán is one of Cuban salsa's most talented singers, composers, and bandleaders. Born in Havana, Cuba on April 27th in 1973, he began his musical career in 1991 with a group called Salsa de Esquina. In 1994, however he gained widespread public recognition when he became famous as a vocalist and composer for the group Conexión Salsera
