Tideland are three well-fed punks from the ever-expanding suburban hood of Sterling, Va., caught somewhere between the nether worlds of forgotten Civil War battlefields and newly erected strip-malls. Member s of Tideland have played in other fine Virginia acts such as Pageninetynine, Forensics, and Sail. They have played across the continental U.S. with fellow Sterling-ites Pygmy Lush and Pizza. Live Tideland is a noise explosion; guitar chords swirling around the room as drums and bass weave tightly around one another.
