Thunderbirds are Now! are an electropunk band from Detroit, Michigan, United States in 2002. They consist of Ryan Allen (vocals, guitar), Scott Allen (keyboards), Julian Wettlin (bass) and Matt Rickle (drums). The Allen brothers are the only remaining members of the original lineup.

The band is heavily influenced by 1980s and other neo- acts like Les Savy Fav. They are currently signed to French Kiss Records, however they have two releases on Action Driver Records and one self-released album, as well as an EP released on Acutest Records.

In a post on their website, dated November 11, the band has said that bassist Howard Chang has left the band and is being replaced with Julian Wettlin of the Javelins.

    I used to listen to Justamustache all the time while I was in high school. I just rediscovered the album....and realized Thunderbirds Are Now! are from Detroit....crazy! I had no idea this band was local.

    They are awesome. Seen em twice in Ann Arbor. Wish Make History had the frantic energy that everything prior had. Justamustache toned it down a bit, but not too much.
