Biography

The Thuglordz was created by Yukmouth & C-bo in 2000. The two always herd about each other albums & rappin skills from Hommies, but never met until they were label mates on Noo Trybe/Virgin records. They met & instantly clicked. C-bo Goes went jail for violating his parole with his album Lyrics. C-bo gets out & starts his own record label, Westcoast Mafia Records. By this time Yukmouth is working on his 2nd album “Thuglord”! Yuk linked up with C-bo & did a few colabos on both Yukmouth & C-bo’s upcoming solo albums. The albums drop & the streets love the 2 colabos, so C-bo & Yuk decide to do a group album like Redman & Method Man called the “Thuglordz”! The name coming from the title of Yuk’s album, to start recording the album. Right in the middle of recording the album, C-bo goes back to jail again on other charges. Now that C-bos in jail, the “thuglordz” album was turned into “the Blocc movement” which is C-bo & Brotha Lynch Hung. Songs Yuk was on, was changed & replaced with Brotha Lynch verses & some of Yuk’s verses stayed on the album. C-bo gets out 9 months later & inks a distribution deal with Navarra & Yuk inks a distribution deal with Rap A Lot. they both put out projects on their labels & then quickly link back up to record the Thuglordz album again.
