Biography

Lubbock might seem an unlikely place for fresh and original music - that is, if you didn’t already know about Buddy Holly, the Flatlanders, Terry Allen, Jay Boy Adams, and so on. Now Thrift Store Cowboys are adding their own modern sound to the South Plains musical landscape.

Constant touring throughout the South and West Coast has helped Thrift Store Cowboys build their fan base. Over the last five years, they have been invited to some of the country’s top indie venues: the Granada Theater in Dallas, the Bluebird Theater in Denver, Threadgill’s World Headquarters in Austin, and the Launchpad in Albuquerque.
