The guitars and the lyrics in this one, show how they evolved from album to album. Really love this song.

Out of all the bands I know, Thrice is definitely the one that has changed the most dramatically over their history. From sort of metalcore-ish to extremely subdued. I like all their albums, though I feel that Vheissu hits a nice balance point between energetic and beautiful.

the lyrics make direct references to C.S. Lewis and The Bible "Don't store up treasures up with moths and rust where thieves break in and steal" is a reference to a verse in Mathew 6 that my dad actually preached on today (he's a pastor) "Do not lay up treasures for for yourselves on Earth where moths and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal but store up treasure in heaven" ... or something like that and "We live in but a shadow of the real" was originally a C.S. Lewis quote I think.
