There are at least two bands named Three Day Weekend:

1.Formed in 2001, Three Day Weekend is the long-running studio-bound anti-musical project of Kurt Biallas and Shaun Fitzpatrick. The self-proclaimed “tri-cities most energetic ska combo”, in actuality produces a shambolic homemade style of music they have dubbed “diaper rock” for its primitive qualities and juvenile lyrical themes. The duo resides in St. Charles, IL, have recorded many tracks over the years and released no albums officially.

2. From Three Day Weekend’s Myspace:

As heard on the Jim Rome Show . . . Jon Suchon (vocals), James Thomas (guitar), Brent Mayson (bass), and Jarod Frank (drums) individually are unquestionably the uncoolest guys you’ll ever meet. But together . . . well, they’re worse! But with their blend of catchy pop punk, alternative, and uptempo rock, they hope you can look past that. Based out of Houston, TX, 3DW offers wacky, feel good tunes that you’re very likely to find stuck in your head. From their jungle smash hit “Mr. Automatic” (written about Jim Rome Show call screener J-Stew) to songs about relationships, slumpbusting, politics, and rocking out, 3DW offers a lil’ something for everybody. They’ve been bonding parents with their kids since, well, 2005! Be sure to check 3DW out around Houston and hopefully someday soon in a city near you!
