Thomas Leer and Robert Rental were a late-1970s industrial music duo from the UK. Leer (real name: Thomas Wishart, born in 1953) and Rental (real name: Robert Donnachie, 1952 - 2000) were born and raised in Port Glasgow, Scotland. The formed a short-lived punk band in 1976, before deciding that electronic music was the future. The both released DIY solo singles in 1978.
