“The Eraser” is a song by Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, and the first track on his 2006 album of the same name. The piano chords heard throughout the song were sampled from a recording Yorke made of Radiohead bandmate Jonny Greenwood.

The song has been remixed by Ellen Allien and Stretch’n’Vern. Yorke linked from the band’s blog Dead Air Space to a video of clubgoers dancing to the latter mix during a set by DJ Sasha.

In 2007, the newly-formed American hip-hop supergroup Child Rebel Soldier, consisting of Lupe Fiasco, Pharrell and Kanye West, sampled parts of the chorus and the piano loops of “The Eraser” for their debut single “Us Placers” (produced by Lupe Fiasco) released on Kanye’s official mixtape, Can’t Tell Me Nothing.
