This Specific Dream began in 2003 with the intention of creating instrumental music that allowed its members to progress as performers and composers without limitations.

The original lineup: Nicholas Elert(guitars/keyboards), Patrick Haga(percussion), James Walker(Bass) and Anna Klement(Violin) debuted with a 10 song self released album that showcased an eagerness to experiment, as well as a strong sense of mood and ambience. only 200 hand packaged copies were produced.

In 2007, they followed with “Ohm”. Featuring Newcomer James Becker on guitar after the parting of Anna Klement, the compositions incorporated odd time signatures, sludge metal passages and a focus on the traditional rock band arrangement.

2008 marks the 5 year anniversary of This Specific Dream, with it comes more recordings and live performances.
