“…absolutely terrific. It’s kind of like Roxy Music’s Virginia Plain meets Claw, but with something entirely of it’s own on top of it.” - Tom Robinson about Tears on Tate, BBC 6Music Introducing

“The trio play mesmerising new-wave and kraut-rock influenced tunes which purr with a bittersweet pop sensibility - the songs are by their nature repetitively and intensely driven but with twinges of melody that make it cohesive, intriguing and fresh, while the simple but deft combination of drums, guitar and synths works.” - BBC NI, Across the Line

“Unveiling a raft of tunes with three/four timings, surprising screaming and inventive twists, this drum-synth-guitar combo have great energy, with kinetic frontman Matthew Rodger bashing the hell out of his Telecaster on tracks like ‘Mary Miller As A Witch’. Expect to hear a lot more from these chaps.” - AU Magazine

Third Man Theme are Brian Farquhar (drums), Claire Hall (synthesiser, voice) and Matthew Rodger (guitar, voice).
