The rise and fall of my sloppy love, the smatterin's
And splatterings, they'll get you
I'm not the one you were thinking of
Maybe you thought I'd call, instead of crashing down your hall

my friend who passed away recently took a lyric from this song and made it his life: "life is not to fear: life is to enjoy." He really packed it into his life, and he really was one of the best people to ever cross this Earth. RIP John, I miss you dearly, but I'm sure God loves you just as dearly.

haha they were big-time when this album came out... but they took too long getting the second album out and it didn't have the same punch as the first album

Me too, I always wondered if this had something to do with the festival. Good song at any rate.

This CD is classic "Losing A Whole Year", "Semi-Charmed Life", "Jumper", and "How's It Gonna Be"! But the real gems are the ones that didn't get released....check out "Motorcycle Driveby", "In The Background", and "God of Wine". Also, I am looking forward to their first CD in SIX years, "Ursa Major" released 8-18-09! "Bonfire" should be a hit that will bring them back into the limelight.

Best song off the album, really a brilliant band, terribly under-rated in my opinion.
