  • a surprisingly good album with some real incredible songs. this is how to do alternative/pop rock right
  • The nostalgia element with this is interesting too... I mean I wasn't there with it at the time but I remember being 17 and blasting Losing a Whole Year after my first real break up way more than was healthy. I just relate to this thing, the songs are so tight and the performances are way more impressive than most people would think when they hear "Third Eye Blind". The lyrics on Narcolepsy are awesome as well. Just fantastic.
  • Pop rock perfected, hands down my favourite record of all time
  • Found this album at a thrift store this week. I'm loving it so far! Might eventually become one of my favorites, and I have a feeling it will!
  • Tony Fredianelli the guitarist from Third Eye Blind is Kickstarting a new band. Looks pretty cool http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/raineman/doubtful-guest/
  • Was the first album I ever owned. My Dad and I still agree this is one of the best albums ever.
  • "Semi-Charmed Life is a song that everyone sings likes it’s a summer anthem for the beach when it’s actually a song about a sex and crystal meth addict" ... I agree but it's definitely not the first popular song about drugs. Hardly groundbreaking in that regard. Awesome song & great album though.
  • This album was my childhood, and it will always be my favorite album. Thank you 3EB for this masterpiece.
  • Why is this so much better than their other albums?
  • favorite album of all time. beautiful from start to finish. i wish they would have continued releasing music like this. but when you think about it you can't really make something like this twice, it just wouldn't be right.
  • Easily one of the best records to come out of the 90's. Incredible production, superb engineering, killer songs....just awesome.
  • Semi-Charmed Life is a song that everyone sings likes it’s a summer anthem for the beach when it’s actually a song about a sex and crystal meth addict. Boom. Roasted. • I always liked the radio songs....but this is my first time listening to the whole CD and I can't believe I didn't buy this album when it came out. Every song is pretty great....I had never heard the 2nd half of the disc before. Man, I missed out....but glad I finally got it. Awesome.

  • Legendary album.
  • My mom got me into this band when I was about 7 and I've been in love since. This album is amazing from start to finish.
  • Nostalgia could be the main reason why this album is so important to me, among many others. I'm sure any other adolescent growing up listening to this album would agree.
  • also the first cd I ever owned... it was actually a cassette tape. Looking back, this was probably the only piece of good music that I listened to during the first 10 years of my life.
  • First CD I ever owned. I agree with DeadDeserted. This whole album gets a <3 from me.
  • ahh, high school/college memories. this cd and matchbox 20 were the soundtrack of our freshman year in college. must have listened to each a few hundred times that yr.
  • First CD to ever own... 6th birthday... I'll always remain loyal. Great album even though I hate most other music in the genre
  • This is why I wish you could love whole albums
  • brings me back to the good ol' days
  • Still love this album. Motorcycle Drive By, One of my all time favorite songs.
  • Essential album of the 90s.
  • one of my all time faves.
  • Like everyone else is saying, one of the best albums of the 90's. I hope they play a lot of songs from it live tomorrow night
  • One of the best albums of the 90's by any band. Motorcycle drive by just melts me!
  • A favorite.
  • This album is amazing The Background <3
  • It'd be my second wife right behind "Youself or Someone Like You" by Matchbox 20.
  • If I could marry any album, it'd be this one.

  • i've always loved this cd.... i remember i listened to it all the time after my boyfriend broke up to me and that was when i suddenly really got the meaning of all of the songs.......... oh, and i'm pretty sure they're all about drugs, too.
