1. The Thin Man (Chinese: Shou Ren) is an alternative rock/grunge band from Beijing, China. It was formed in 1993 by vocalist Dai Qin, guitarist Guo Zhiyang, bassist San Er, and drummer Wang Lan. They first appeared on the compilation album called “Yaogun Xianfeng” in 1994.
After releasing “Thin Man I” in 1999, the band emerged to become one of the most famous bands in China.
In 2002, they released their second album, “Beijing Dream”.
Their most recent album is called “The Seventh Day”, released in 2008.

2. Thin Man (or The Thin Man) is a compilation of radio shows based on Nick and Nora Charles, the detective duo invented by Dashiell Hammett. These radio shows were broadcast in the 1940s. Some episodes were compiled on an album, entitled “Adventures of The Thin Man”.
