@pokrishka I believe you should either see more photography or keep living a little longer

I don't know why so many people dislike The Else... I probably never would've went through their back catalog if it weren't for this album. No, most of the songs aren't particularly "deep", but not everything needs to be.

I believe this album cover is the best photograph I have ever seen in my entire life.

I liked TMBG in a non-specific way for years, but The Else is what really made me a fan and go back and get their back catalog. I still find it to be my favorite TMBG album, and one of my favorite albums ever. :)

An excellent album and the only TMBG one I own. I like it just as much as their Dial-A-Song greatest hits compilation.

\/ agreed. Massively underrated album. With the Dark is my favorite Flansy song by a long shot.

Where's the Shadow Government when you need it? Great song.

I have to be honest, this is my favorite TMBG album. It's the most tightly produced, all the songs are good, I think it's flawless.

Definitely listenable but nowhere near as memorable as other Giants' albums.

I don't know - I'm hearing for the first time, and so far it seems to be pretty good. Not as bad as Ween has gotten with the last few albums...

whoever said: Their earlier albums were actually smart and disturbing and unpredictable. On this album, the lyrics are just goofy (in a bad way), and the songs and their structures are really bland and way too straightforward. has got their finger on the goddamn pulse
