Adge Cutler and The Wurzels, renamed The Wurzels after Cutler's death, are a British Scrumpy and Western band.
The band is best known for its 1976 number one hit The Combine Harvester but has a history stretching nearly 40 years, and still performs to this day.

  • I don't think it's right that Lastfm have (once again) tried combined Adge Cutler & The Wurzels and The Wurzels together as artists. The Adge Cutler era is a separate band/entity in my opinion (read the history) - it's very similar to Joy Division and New Order - Lastfm would never combine these two artist profiles now would they?! This is now the second time this has happened. I listen to Adge Cutler & The Wurzels far more often that I listen to The Wurzels and I would prefer that this is shown in my stats and not a distorted view of 2 separate band's scrobbles combined.

  • The Wurzel's cover of Don't Look Back in Anger is far superior to the original. Although I accept that's damning with faint praise. A room full of monkeys would suck less than Oasis.
