BIOG:

In mid March 2009 two friends got together to make some music. Sick of the traditional rock band format and weary of the egocentric arguments and feuds that it can breed they decided to write, play and get back to the simple pleasure of creating songs. They decided that a collective vibe was needed. They would play and if people wanted to join in and add something to the mix then so much the better. With that The Woven Project was born. and are a set of moving folk tinged songs began to take shape. They were invited to play at a local deli/bar and went down a storm in the packed intimate venue.

Comparisons as varied as Radiohead, Tom McCrae and The Unbelievable Truth were made and the two friends realised that they were on the right track. High profile gigs in the region swiftly followed including the Cosmos stage at Middlesbrough Music Live of which they graced the same stage with bands like the Goldheart Assembly, Beth Jeans Houghton and Mike Heron and really felt they held thier own and deserved to be there.
