The Workhorse Movement were an eclectic metal band signed to RoadRunner Records who in 2002 released their sole album, “Sons of the Pioneers”.

The Workhorse Movement have been described as “fundamental metal traditionalism with a myriad of cross-generic chops”, a reflection of the multitude of styles incorporated into their general old school metal sound.

The band never received much commercial success during the NU-metal era and thus disbanded after the single release. However, members of the band are now working on new material under the moniker ‘Dirty Americans’

As far as I know, the only other albums in circulation is the Sons of the Pioneers one they did, at least that's the only other one I've been able to find so far for sale in the UK.

Anyone out there know where I can get hold of the independent albums from before they signed to Roadrunner? Vaguely remember reading about them long, long ago before the Roadrunner album first came out.
