I am implying that anyone who listens to punk music should think the new LP is bad, yes. The lyrics sound like they were written by someone in highschool. Soupy is like 26 or some shit and he is still singing the same sappy bullshit, and he only gets worse at it. It's not good musically. Suburbia had variation in tone and tempo. The new LP is the same half-time crash beat played over and over with the same boring guitar parts. Most disappointing record of the last few years. Also The Story So Far is the worst active pop-punk band

Spartannnn, you seem to be implying that if someone listens to punk music, they would think this LP is bad. That isn't true at all. I listen to punk and hardcore (though I haven't scrolled much in a while and my plays on here don't really reflect it) and love the new album. If you considered the context of the lyrics and how they're about closing a chapter and moving on, then you'd realize it's a prime example of "growing up". Plus it's really good musically. I prefer Suburbia but only slightly. I mean, COME ON. Half the new record sounds just like it.

"I wish people who listened to this band were actually people who actually listened to punk music so they could back how bad this LP is" well that's dumb considering the wonder years are a pop punk band so... wouldn't people who listen to pop punk music be better suited to judge the quality of a pop punk album or am i missing something..........? also there are plenty of people who listen to the wonder years and "actual punk music." i am obviously not the best example of those people but yeah, please don't pull that "you guys don't listen to real punk" stuff and act like you're the best judge of everything that fits under the punk umbrella just because you do. It's okay not to like the album, it's not okay to be a condescending ass about music unless that music is metalcore. (kidding...kind of)

it's okay, I mean I like it but I'm not like "oh my god" either. It's just the Suburbia pt 2 same lyrics, same kinda songs, except honestly it sounds like ol' boy dropped a couple tears in the studio... I don't mean that in a good "emo" jamz way either.

Simply posting a negative opinion isn't "trolling" [2] I was subjected to endless abuse in the Fall Out Boy shoutbox after i dared criticise their latest offering. Why is discussion dead? Why is everyone who doesn't like something automatically a "hater"?

The new album works quite well as a sleeping aid, but other than that it's nothing particularly impressive (at least to me...different opinions, blah blah etc.). Also, simply posting a negative opinion isn't "trolling".

I didn't mind the production on Suburbia but TGG's is much, much better holy shit.

i don't even care what haters say. music is about feelings and what i feel when i listen to TWY is unique, no other band ever had such lyrics that i can relate to so perfectly. that's why i love this fucking band. you can call them overrated or whatever you want. doesn't change the fact that this band has helped many people to go through a lot of problems knowing at least they're not alone. once again music is about feelings, not only liking this instrumental or that song writing. if it affects you somehow in a good way, that's it. you don't need anything else.
