The White Stripes were an band, formed in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. They disbanded in 2011. The group consisted of songwriter Jack White (vocals, piano/keyboards, guitar) and Meg White (drums, vocals).

  • I definitely wouldn't describe Get Behind Me Satan as weak. If anything I'd say it's a successful expansion of their sound. As good as the first four albums are, Get Behind Me Satan was a necessary instance of their adding to and embellishing their sound with new instruments, different influences and fuller arrangements. One of their best, IMO.
  • Get Behind me Satan is their only weak album, I only like like three songs, the rest of their albums are stellar.
