Biography

THE WHENEVER PLAN is a Rock band from Cleveland, Ohio mixing Punk-Pop melodies with Indie Rock influences, mixing many other genres to form what defines the literal whenever plan. The band was formed by Cameron Dunbar (Guitars) and Jacob Lee (Guitars/Vocals) as mostly a jam session for fun. Seeing bands with members their age influenced them to want to start getting serious about their music and realizing that “anyone has potential”. Jacob’s long lost brother, Tan Lee (Vocals), was found singing on the streets of Cleveland with some trumpet players and an acoustic guitarist by Cameron and Jacob whilst searching for a lead singer. Seeing his, er, “talent” Cameron and Jacob found him fit to sing for The Whenever Plan. Later on, in 2007, Jacob met Jono Tilisky (Bass/Vocals) while jamming with some of his buddies and they worked well together, so things went from there. Searching for a drummer still, Jono and Jacob met Mark Bower (Drums) in the summer of 2008 at a friend’s band’s band practice. Forming the band that is THE WHENEVER PLAN, they started putting to work their first EP, “EP Phone Home”. After the release the band tried their hand at the 2009 Cleveland High School Rock Off and made it to the finals. Gaining popularity in local high schools, the band landed on their feet and kept running.
The band has recently started writing new songs and will be releasing their debut album sometime late this Summer/early this Fall, 2009. Get pumped. “With hearts of lions we will strike them down.”
