Biography

Fans of both rock and electronic music, The Watermarks effortlessly bridge the gap between the two genres. The band is known not only for their incendiary live performances, but also their D.I.Y. approach to recording, writing, and producing which has yielded 2 self released EPs. These Indie rock D.I.Y. Ethics, noise-pop sensibilities and electronic textures have lead the band to craft a unique sound where melody is the main character…a sound that is danceable and pop yet full of loud guitars and heavy organic and electronic rhythms. The Watermarks reside in Houston and rarely rest from writing new material and playing live shows.

    Hey, thanks for waking me up with the add.. Would have remained in the everlasting slumber of not having you in my library otherwise... I'm going to the Houston event at Warehouse Live and wish I could bring my camera. Too bad WL is always chitty about that sort of thing... Well at least for my big ass camera anyway! I work for the Daily News if you want to give me a Press Pass. So which band member handles all the friend aquisitions here on Last.fm or is it a collaboration? Anyway, just curious which one added me... Might try to say hi at the gig :) Cheers.. Love your music!
