In the year 2000 The Wagner Logic was formed by James Glaves and Jeremy Wagner in a basement in the woods of a small, rural, Alaskan town called Kasilof (pronounced kuh-see-loff). Approximately 200 miles from the state’s largest city Anchorage, Kasilof is well known for its world famous salmon fishing, dog sledding, and more everyday for our experimental pop rock band The Wagner Logic.

After a year long residency in Northern California, the band returned to Alaska to record and release a collection of songs in late 2007 titled “Easiest to Grab” on a label in which the duo co-manage called Wilderhood Records. The album garnered excitable international reviews from publications such as SLUG magazine, AbsolutePunk.net, Lowcard magazine, including a mention in E.Q. magazine.
With the help of a custom made computer bot program by a rabid fan with un-paralleled computer skills, the band’s debut album was unknowingly virally leaked all over the torrent world and illegally downloaded over 300,000 times and eventually became indexed as a top download on many of the world’s top torrent and file sharing sites.
With help from Team Clermont Promotions the album did excellent and peaked at #153 on riyl.com’s national radio charts in December of 2007. The band supplemented the release with a successful west coast tour. After which the band headed back to the studio to write and record the as of yet untitled sophomore record.
